About Podgora
Natural and tourist oasis, the town of Podgora is located at the very heart of Dalmatia, on the slopes of mountain Biokovo and spreads itself all the way to the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Podgora has around 2750 inhabitants; land area of the town of Podgora is 52 km2. For more then 100 years people of Podgora rely on tourism in order to make their living but fishing, olive growing and olive oil production are also very important.
Bearing in mind that the town of Podgora has 2750 hours of sun, means that Podgora is one of the sunniest places in Croatia.
